Electric bill feel high?

About one in five ComEd households buys electricity from an alternative supplier, and most of them pay more than ComEd's own price. Enter four numbers from your bill and we'll compare what you paid for supply with what ComEd's own customers paid for the same bill, using the rates the Illinois Commerce Commission has published since 2017.

Where to find these on a ComEd bill

The Service from … through … dates are printed near the top of the bill. Under Charge Details, the Supply heading names your supplier (ComEd or another company) and shows the kWh and the section's total on the right; enter that total, including any fixed or monthly fees. Leave out the Delivery and Taxes & Fees sections, which ComEd bills everyone the same. If your supplier sends its own bill, use its supply and transmission total.
